"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to
triumph in Christ . . ."
2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
Life is filled with mysteries. Life will not give to you
what you expect. Life will only give to you what you demand. By the reason of
the fall, there is an adversary at work all over the nations of the world.
People will contend for the things that belong to you. You will see people
fight to take away from you what is rightfully yours. Knowing this you have got
to make up your mind, guard your loins and ensure that you don't sit by and
expect that things would fall on you like a bag of cherry.
We live in a world that is filled with injustice and all
kinds of mischief. Oftentimes, things are not as straight as they appear. You
must understand these facts. However the mysteries of life can be unravelled
when we apply kingdom principles. The kingdom of God overrules all other
kingdoms. All other kingdoms are subject to the kingdom of God.
As a child of God, you don't need to be afraid. By the
reason of your connection to God you are already a victorious person. 1 John
4:4 tells us "Ye are of God, little Children and have overcome them,
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world". You
are a world overcomer. You are a world system overcomer and this is the victory
that overcomes the world, our faith. We always win; it does not matter what the
enemy does.
We are already declared the winner because Jesus died for
us. He descended to hell; He rose triumphant over death, hell and grave. He is
sitting at the right hand of the Father Almighty. He spoilt principalities and
powers and made a show of them openly. So we are already winners. But we have
got to step out in faith and act like the winner that we are. God wants us to
always put on a far-above - mentality. Far-above is where Jesus is seated at
the right hand of the Father. Jesus is the head of the church. As He is in
heaven, so are we here on earth. There is no material for failure in you. You
can always win in the challenges of life.
